Camera 2 is the Dolly Cam. The operators main job is to move along the track in a smooth manner.
SETUP
Batteries/Power
Cam 2 uses V-Mount batteries, these are located in the production storage next to the control room. Use one Battery per service (WHOLE). There is an indicator button to show you how much charge is left on the batteries.
Once the batteries has been installed on the camera, use the power button on the side of the camera to turn on and off.

CONTROL
PAN AND TILT LOCK
Pan and tilt for the cameras can be locked via the knobs on the swivel head for the camera.
PAN/TILT TENSIONS
Use the pan resistance button button to make side to side motion easier to handle. Increasing the resistance helps to smooth out "shaky" pans.
ZOOM CONTROL
Zoom control for the camera is a pressure sensitive side-to-side rocker on the right pan-bar handle. There is also a speed control knob to control the overall speed of the zoom.
FOCUS CONTROL
Focus is controlled by the grip on the left pan-bar handle. Focus direction is the orientation of the wheel

Coms Cam 3 is a belt pack, it may be easier to clip this to a pocket, or leave it on a leg.

See below for examples of the depths of shots. It’s important that Cam 2 is changing depth of shots after being live to add to the “variety”.
