K-4 Room Control
K-4 Room Control
You will need to log into the QSYS wall panels to use the AV systems in each room. Tap the touch screen and input 1225. Once logged in, you will have access to the following menus. Audio, Video, and Lighting
The Audio control in K-4 rooms is accessed under the "Levels" 1 and 2 tab.
MC 1/MC2: This is the wireless mic that will be used speaking in these rooms.
Video: This volume fader controls audio level from anything selected under the video tab.
CD (DENON): Controls the audio level from CD/AUX player in the rack.
BLD A: This is server muzak (outside audio) from Building A.
Mic 1-10: are inputs located on the wall panel at the stage location.
Main: This is the MASTER volume of the room, turning this fader down will turn down ALL of the volume.
The red buttons at the bottom of each fader mutes the audio from that channel.
The video control in the room is accessed under the "Video" tab. This tab allows you to swap between the different sources connected, turn the TVs on and off, control blu-ray player, and adjust volume of video.
3: Blu-Ray (Tascam): blu-ray player located in the wall rack. Blu-ray controls are located on this screen.
4: MATV (ZvSync): This device is video signal coming from building A, (Ch 1: Service Feed, Ch2: building A signage, Ch3: building C signage). To change the channel on this device, use the ZvSync remote controller, and simply channel up/down as you would change a cable box at home.
5: Computer: This is the local HDMI input at the wall mounted rack.
6: Apple TV: Input 6 is the Apple TV, it is not labeled on the touch panel
8: Stage: This is the HDMI input at the back stage wall. This will be used for standalone events when running a computer from the stage.
Blu-ray control and TV Power are also controlled from this screen.
Audio for Video: The "video" audio fader is also copied to this page for quick adjustment. When playing video from any of these sources,
Denon Music Player: Highlighted in Red. This is a stand alone music player with CD, 1/8" aux cable, and bluetooth capabilities. The audio output for this device is adjusted on the fader labeled "CD".
Tascam Blu-Ray Player: Highlighted in Blue. The controls for this devices are located on the Video Tab.
ZvSync TV Tuner: Highlighted in Cyan. This device is controlled via ZvSync remote control to change the "channel" of video being recieved.
There are 9 different scenes for lighting control in each room. To select a scene simply touch a button and the scene will fire.

The audio in 5th-6th room can be ran with the full audio console, or from the desk panel like K-4. If the event is using the FULL Midas M32 audio console you hit "Manual Mixer" and the virtual faders will disappear and the M32 will be routed to the speakers. If you are not using the M32, select "Auto Mixer". This

TV SCREENS ON/OFF: Provides power to the audience TVs.
CONFIDENCE MONITOR:
ON/OFF: Provides power to the confidence TV
PGM: This changes the input of the confidence TV to “Program”, meaning this will mirror the audience TVs.
SD: This change the input of the confidence TV to “Stage Display” from ProPresenter.

Building C uses a closed cable network to send video content to the lobby TVs. Below are the channel assignments
Channel 2: Program video from Building A Auditorium
Channel 3: Adult digital signage
Channel 4: Kids digital signage
You are able to select any of the classrooms as a source of audio for the Lobby/Hall/Restroom as well as the following.
Server A: Background Muzak from building A
Program A: Audio from building A auditorium
Server C: Background Muzak from building C ipad in AV closet.
